People often ask me why I love helping agents get started in real estate — and honestly, the answer is simple.
I’m Victoria Leahy, Realtor and Director of Agent Services at Realty World Legacy, and the part of this job that lights me up the most has nothing to do with transactions or titles. It’s watching people grow into confidence they didn’t know they had yet.
Watching the Shift Is Everything
There’s a moment I see over and over again.
An agent starts out feeling:
• nervous
• overwhelmed
• unsure of what they’re doing
• scared of making mistakes
And then something clicks.
They get organized.
They understand the process.
They stop second-guessing themselves.
They realize: “I can actually do this.”
Being even a small part of that shift is incredibly rewarding.
Solving Problems Is My Favourite Part
What I love most about supporting agents is solving the things that feel heavy or confusing at the beginning:
• setting up systems properly
• breaking down processes step by step
• showing shortcuts I wish someone had told me
• helping agents avoid mistakes before they happen
• answering the questions people are afraid to ask
Real estate doesn’t have to feel chaotic — but without guidance, it often does.
Support Changes Everything
This industry can feel:
• overwhelming
• lonely
• isolating
Especially when you’re new, restarting, or trying to figure things out on your own.
Having someone in your corner — someone who explains, supports, and helps you problem-solve in real time — changes the entire experience.
When an agent feels supported, they move differently. They’re calmer. They’re clearer. And they’re more confident with their clients.
Why This Matters to Me
Whether I’m answering a quick question, fixing a system, walking through a process, or helping an agent reset their business, this is where I’m happiest.
Helping someone feel capable, supported, and confident isn’t just part of my role — it’s the part of real estate I didn’t expect to love as much as I do.
